BIMWorld 2023: a look back at the leading exhibition for the digital transition in the construction sector

On 5 and 6 April, some 12,000 participants came through the doors of BIMWorld Paris at Porte de Versailles. On this occasion, 300 exhibitors took place on their stands, including the BIM&CO team alongside its partners.

Presented as the leading event for digital transformation in construction, BIMWorld Paris brought together professionals, experts and key players in the industry. All were driven by the same passion and desire to develop and innovate. This two-day event was an excellent opportunity to exchange, learn and create synergies for a sustainable and prosperous future.

A look back at BIM&CO‘s presence at this exhibition!

BIMWorld: An opportunity to exchange with construction professionals

The BIM&CO team was on stand D10, located at the entrance to the BIMWorld exhibition, on 5 and 6 April.

It was an opportunity to discuss with the visitors about the digital transition in the construction sector. And of course, the opportunity to present our two solutions: the public platform bimandco.com, and the private platform Onfly.

Aimed at users of digital mock-ups, bimandco.com allows users to find and download a multitude of functional and quality BIM objects free of charge in a few clicks. These objects come from the construction manufacturers’ catalogues, partners of BIM&CO.

The Onfly solution allows architects and design offices to manage their BIM content more easily. This cloud solution helps users to manage their objects more efficiently. Indeed, they can work together on a centralised model in real time.

The “Manufacturer’s Hub” renewed

Just like last year’s BIMWorld, BIM&CO has invited some of its partners to join its “Pôle Fabricants”.

Among these partners, we could find Eurovent Certita Certification, Manitou Group, Sepalumic, L’UFME and L’UNIQ.

This pole allowed the partners to exchange with the visitors of the exhibition. In addition, they were able to lead workshops held on the BIM&CO stand.

Topics discussed by the speakers included digitalisation, digital continuity, collaboration, energy transition and the future of construction.

Conference with construction leaders

To start the BIMWorld in style, BIM&CO participated in a conference on Wednesday April 5 in the morning, along with SYSTRA, Groupe Kardham and Stonal

They all discussed the organization of the digital continuity between all the actors of the construction. They also shared three Onfly use cases that illustrate this new reality.

We thank them for their speeches. They have aroused great interest and have been the occasion for fruitful exchanges around the current and future challenges of our sector. Their commitment and passion were a real source of inspiration for the audience of this conference.

Various workshops with partners and BIM experts

Throughout the two days of the show, the various BIM&CO partners conducted workshops on stand D10.

We would like to thank Sepalumic, Union Nationale des Industries de la Quincaillerie, Union des Fabricants de Menuiseries (UFME), Eurovent Certita Certification and MANITOU Group, for presenting their workshops. These exchanges have greatly contributed to the experience of the participants.

Then, the two days ended with a special workshop: the AfterBIMWorld. This was an opportunity for the BIM experts who had previously participated in the AfterBIM, to come back to the topics discussed during their session. In this way, they could share their feedback, knowledge and advice.

Thanks to them, we were able to deepen our understanding of the challenges of BIM and strengthen the links between the actors of our sector. Many thanks go to Julien Beaupré, Aurelien BLANC, Nicolas Valette, Alfredo CARDENAS, Anthony CARTA , Tristan Mayeur, and Balthazar Cemeli !

The final word

At the end of this exceptional edition of BIMWorld 2023, we would like to express our immense gratitude to all our partners and speakers. Indeed, they have contributed to make this event a real success.

We hope to see you soon at our future events. So that together we can continue to build a brighter future for our sector.

If, at the end of this exhibition, you wish to discuss with us about your digital transition or the management of your BIM content, don’t wait any longer!
