Madel, Spanish manufacturer of air conditioning components, releases new BIM products

Madel, expert in HVAC solutions, continues to rely on the BIM&CO platform to expand its range of BIM product families for your diffusion, regulation, filtration and fire protection systems.

For over 50 years, Madel has specialised in the design and production of air distribution, regulation and control components for air conditioning systems.

After 5 years of launch and the confirmation of the interest of the users for its BIM objects, Madel publishes on the BIM&CO platform its new ranges of products, available here. The initial objective of 2014 in entering the BIM&CO platform was to meet the needs of design and architectural offices for catalogues in BIM format, which is why Madel decided to take the plunge and offer its products on the platform. As in the initial phase, in these new families, the information contained in the objects remained a priority, alongside the geometry itself.

With this new release of BIM objects, Madel is integrating the latest innovations to its catalogues in BIM&CO, a real advantage for the HVAC expert. Thus, its new products with the latest technologies in air diffusion are available to its specifiers.

For this new stage, Madel has worked directly with the BIM&CO technical team to update the families and organise the content of the manufacturer’s page in the most efficient way possible.

Roger Guitart, Technical Sales Manager, says: “Today, the most important thing for us is the agility needed when updating new families. When we finish designing a new product, it is important that we can quickly update the information on the platform. That’s why we have set up a collaborative system to make this task as efficient as possible.”

In this update, 12 new objects have been added between the Madel Regulation, Filtration and Diffusion catalogues. In total, over 1400 new product references have been added, allowing the company to expand its product range.

Among the new products published are diffusion elements with filtration, which can be necessary in recent times due to the current global health situation.

According to Miguel Muñoz, Project & Technical Manager at BIM&CO, the long-standing collaboration between the two companies is what has made the project run so smoothly: “Both Roger and Jordi know the platform inside out, which makes it much easier to integrate and update existing products.
