ITH<\/strong>, or Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Hotelero<\/strong><\/a>, is a Spanish innovation centre whose mission is to promote the use of new technologies in the hotel and tourism industry<\/strong> with the aim of improving the profitability, quality and efficiency of facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having this goal in mind, and with the idea of facilitating the development of BIM installation projects for the hotel sector<\/strong>, the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Hotelero (ITH)<\/strong><\/a>, together with its strategic partners Bosch<\/a>, Italsan<\/a> and Wilo<\/a>, worked with BIM&CO<\/strong><\/a> to develop the ITH BIM HOTEL<\/a> <\/strong>platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a specific platform for centralising BIM families belonging to the following categories<\/strong><\/a>: air conditioning, plumbing, ACS and PCI<\/strong>, for any refurbishment project or new construction of installations in the hotel environment. ITH<\/a> also offers complementary families to design a complete installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This platform<\/a><\/strong> makes it possible to centralise the information for the design of mechanical installations in a single site<\/strong>, with the possibility of searching by brands or by category of elements<\/strong>, to visualise the object in 3D<\/strong> (picture 1) before downloading it and also to consult its parameters and values online<\/strong> without having to open the native file (picture 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will be able to consult the documentary information<\/strong> associated with each element, from technical data sheets to price breakdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, online technical support<\/strong> has been integrated to guide and advise the designer in the choice of equipment and its usability<\/strong> within the BIM model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
