It may come as a surprise that a company such as Mercadona<\/a>, an international supermarket chain<\/strong>, is implementing highly advanced BIM processes to implement its international expansion strategy<\/strong>. What many people don’t know is that the chain is not only part of the retail sector, but also designs, maintains and promotes the execution of all its assets<\/strong>: from warehouses, shops and offices to \u00ab\u00a0hives\u00a0\u00bb, warehouses that are exclusively used for online sales. Mercadona<\/a> is currently one of the most present Spanish companies in the AEC sector<\/strong>, with more than 1,600 shops, 16 logistics blocks, 3 hives and several office centres in Spain and Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to respond to strong market traction, Mercadona<\/a> found with Onfly a way to use a content manager as a repository. Now the chain can manage the standardisation and parameterisation criteria of its objects, products and projects while being accessible to all its teams.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n
